FAQ (continued)

How many computers do I need for my class?

Essentially, you only need one Internet-linked computer which is also attached to a printer.

Why do my pupils need Inquest-Macbeth?

Inquest - Macbeth uses a powerful communication tool (the Internet) to promote and develop high order communication skills.

Whilst using Inquest - Macbeth your pupils will ask questions, make theories, demand explanations and develop their critical thinking skills. Pupils will be talking and, most importantly, listening to each other as they form opinions and arguments. Lively debate and group interaction are an integral part of Project Boxes: in this case in-depth investigation of characters' motives in Macbeth; how they have changed and developed during the drama; and the implications for others.

How long will Inquest - Macbeth take?

Inquest - Macbeth is flexible. We understand the pressures of timetabling and availability of computers. Inquest - Macbeth should not take less than a double session, but you are able to extend this timeframe, as you wish, to cover up to 6 single sessions.

What about my planning?

Before beginning the database interrogation, a full lesson has been planned for you by English experts. After the online activity is completed there is a further prepared lesson for you to print out. All the learning aims and objectives relating to the online activity have been identified so that they can easily match up with your existing plans. Included is a detailed activity plan to last the duration of the online work.
