Recent events have caused rumours amongst your people and Malcolm's army crosses Scotland to battle with Macbeth.
You must now decide whether to stick with Macbeth or change your allegiance to Malcolm. The Thanes have called together a court of enquiry. You must prepare a report to present at the court of enquiry and tell the rest of your kinsmen (and women) exactly who you are going to fight for. Each person in your group must have a specific job. A Senior Officer You speak at the debate. Your name is at the top of this sheet. A Runner You must visit the computer, feed in the decisions of the group and bring back the printouts from the printer. Research Assistants Research Assistants decide who to interview and what questions to ask. They keep a record of useful information and a list of quotations ready for the presentation. You can interview all the important people involved in this situation, including Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. On your first visit to the computer, you will be able to select the first person you wish to interview and a list of the questions available. In your group you should decide which question to ask. On your second visit, tell the computer which question you have chosen and read/print out (if you wish) the interviewee's answer. Back in your group study the answer, complete an Inquest Interview Record Sheet and decide whom to interview next. Repeat the process. Unfortunately your time is limited and you may only ask a set number of questions overall. When all the interviews are over, you must try to condense all your Interview Record sheets onto the Inquest Report Sheet and prepare your final presentation to explain your decision. | ||||||||
