As Malcolm's army crosses into Scotland to bring Macbeth to battle, the Scottish Thanes are faced with a dilemma: should they remain loyal in their support for Macbeth or change their allegiance to Malcolm?

The Thanes have called together a court of enquiry. Your students must interview the characters and report back to you, as the Thanes, with their recommendations.
