You are a team of Local Police Officers.
You will be receiving information, public enquiries, public complaints and instructions from your Duty Inspector.
Job Roles
Communication Officer
-
Read every message aloud to the rest of your group.
- It is your job to make sure every team member has heard every message.
- Look after the map and help other team members to work with the map.
Accident Officer
-
Keep track of any reported accidents and mark them on the map.
- Complete the Diversion Sheet.
- Complete the Road Crash Sheet.
Public Liaison Officer
- Respond to enquiries from the public; use the database to find information.
- Complete response forms to give back.
- Write any press releases or news bulletins.
Investigation Officer

Assist the other officers by looking on the database for different vehicles and criminals.
- Keep a record of any interesting information.
- Assist other officers to set up diversions, complete diversion sheets and road crash reports.
You are about to receive information, public enquiries, public complaints and instructions from your Duty Inspector.
Together as a team you must:
- respond to public enquiries,
- complete road crash reports,
- set up a diversion
- write a traffic bulletin.
REMEMBER: NOT ALL INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC IS ACCURATE!!
At the end you will have to present your answers to all of the above questions and read out your traffic bulletin and responses to public enquiries!
